G20 Meeting to be Dominated by Brexit Concerns

Finance heads of major economies of the world will face new fears of protectionism when they meet in China this weekend, with Brexit impact and strategic options decrease to stimulate global growth is expected to dominate the talks.

the Group of 20 finance ministers and central bankers meeting will focus on the new British Chancellor of the Exchequer, Philip Hammond, who made his international debut at the meeting and will answer questions on how London will manage its exit from Europe.

also overlooking the G20 meeting in the southwestern city of Chengdu will be the US presidential campaign in which Donald Trump protectionist themes should be at the center after his official nomination as Republican candidate in 2016 this week.

"(the Brexit), the focus will be on the G20 can deliver a message to allay concerns," said an Asian financial official involved in the G20 issues. "We must always be vigilant."

The International Monetary Fund this week cut its forecast for global growth, especially on the vote of Britain to leave the European Union.
